FreeCAD Expert

We are seeking experienced FreeCAD Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on mechanical engineering, aerospace, and industrial design applications.

You'll apply your CAD and engineering expertise to analyze multi-part assemblies and create precise technical question-and-answer sets that support the development of next-generation AI systems.

Scope of Work

• Create objective, precise, and verifiable Q&A sets based on native FreeCAD assemblies.
• Analyze complex mechanical designs, including geometry, assembly relationships, and engineering functions.
• Develop multiple technical questions per assembly requiring domain-specific knowledge.
• Ensure every question has a clear, accurate, and verifiable answer.
• Produce technically accurate and well-written content.
• Collaborate asynchronously through written and verbal communication to clarify requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Document technical insights, ambiguities, and observations to support continuous project improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or industrial design with solid CAD knowledge.
• Significant experience analyzing multi-part CAD assemblies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand design intent.
• Hands-on experience with FreeCAD or similar CAD platforms; FreeCAD experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Experience creating technical questions, training materials, or engineering documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and deliver consistent, assessment-ready technical content.
