Job Description:

Role Title: PhysioNet Competitor (Biomedical Signal Processing & ML)

Role Type: Contractor
Location: Global, Fully Remote
Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week, with flexible working hours.

Job Summary

We are seeking specialists with experience in PhysioNet Challenges or similar biomedical signal processing and machine learning competitions. You will develop, solve, and evaluate technical problems to support the advancement of AI systems.

Scope of Work

  • Create challenging problems involving biomedical signals, time-series analysis, and machine learning.
  • Develop reference solutions using Python, MATLAB, or other scientific computing tools.
  • Work on signal preprocessing, filtering, segmentation, feature extraction, classification, and forecasting.
  • Document technical decisions, experiments, and validation methods.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in PhysioNet/CinC Challenges or comparable competitions.
  • Strong biomedical signal processing and machine learning skills.
  • Demonstrated technical contributions through research papers, code repositories, or competition results.
  • Hands-on experience with ECG, EEG, PPG, EMG, respiratory signals, or other physiological data.

  3. Hiring manager review.

Immediate availability is preferred. Selected candidates should be ready to begin their first task within 24–48 hours after onboarding.
