Role Title: UltraTax CS Specialist

We are engaging experienced UltraTax CS Specialists and tax professionals to support a customer project focused on completing and documenting real-world tax workflows within UltraTax CS. You'll use your hands-on tax preparation expertise to complete realistic tasks and contribute high-quality data for AI development.

Scope of Work

• Complete realistic tax preparation and compliance workflows using UltraTax CS.
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns based on provided scenarios.
• Enter and review taxpayer information, income, deductions, credits, and other tax data.
• Review tax calculations and identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information.
• Work with individual, business, corporate, and partnership tax scenarios.
• Explain the steps used to complete workflows in UltraTax CS.
• Review completed tax work for accuracy and compliance.
• Create realistic examples based on professional tax preparation workflows.
• Document processes and provide clear written feedback according to project guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong hands-on professional experience with UltraTax CS.
• Background in tax preparation, tax accounting, or tax compliance.
• Experience preparing or reviewing U.S. federal and state tax returns.
• Familiarity with individual and business tax returns, including corporate and partnership returns.
• Strong understanding of U.S. tax forms, terminology, and filing processes.
• Ability to independently navigate UltraTax CS and complete common workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify tax or data-entry errors.
• Ability to clearly explain tax preparation processes and decisions.
