Role Title: SaaS Contracts Counsel

Location: Remote
We are seeking experienced SaaS Contracts Counsels for a part-time opportunity focused on improving legal AI systems. Candidates will use their expertise in technology transactions, contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining to train and evaluate AI models for accurate contract review and legal risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Evaluate AI-generated contract reviews and provide expert feedback.
- Develop grading criteria and evaluation frameworks for contract-related tasks.
- Identify contractual risks and assess legal reasoning and accuracy.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to improve AI-driven legal solutions.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 3 years of in-house experience in technology transactions.
- Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Excellent legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to provide actionable feedback.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI, legal technology, or AI training projects.
- Corporate law firm experience in M&A or private equity fund formation.
