• Job title: Jr Mechanical Draughtsman
• Experience: 3-15 Years

Must Haves:

• At least 3+ years of experience working as a mechanical or MEP draughtsman in the water treatment industry.
• Must be currently working in the water treatment industry.
• Must have skills in AutoCAD, P&ID, GA and Isometric drawing.
• Must have experience working on STP (sewage treatment plant) projects within the water treatment industry.
• Must be familiar with international standards such as ASME, NFPA or IEC

Qualifications:

• Graduation in Mechanical or Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering.
• Above 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman, preferably in the water treatment or infrastructure sector.
• Candidate must have experience working in STP plants
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or BIM tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software based on engineering inputs.
• Interpret and incorporate design changes, redlines, and markups from engineers.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local codes.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and process teams to ensure clash-free designs.
• Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
• Support site teams with drawing clarifications and updates as needed.
