Job Title: Procurement & Vendor Management Expert

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Procurement & Vendor Management Experts to contribute to an AI training project by designing realistic, multi-step procurement tasks with objective grading criteria. The role involves transforming real-world procurement workflows into structured benchmark tasks that evaluate AI systems' analytical skills, reasoning, and decision-making. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design multi-step tasks based on real procurement workflows, including supplier assessment, bid comparison, vendor risk analysis, and contract review.
  2. Develop clear instructions and objective grading criteria to ensure consistent evaluation.
  3. Create tasks that require sound judgment, analytical thinking, and accurate interpretation of procurement documents.
  4. Prepare supporting materials, including RFP responses, pricing schedules, contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and risk assessments.
  5. Identify ambiguous or ungradable tasks and refine them before submission.
  6. Deliver high-quality, approved tasks within project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier assessment, or vendor management.
  2. Experience developing or applying structured evaluation standards, including supplier scorecards, weighted bid criteria, vendor risk frameworks, or category strategies.
  3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work across contracts, spreadsheets, and reports.
  4. CIPS, CPSM, or an equivalent professional certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
  5. Strong written and spoken English proficiency (B2 minimum; C1 preferred).
  6. Experience with AI or LLM evaluation is a plus but not required.

Project Details

  • Engagement: Project-based, with payment per approved task.
  • Compensation: Up to $90/hour equivalent.
  • Estimated Time: Approximately 10 hours per task.
  • Work Mode: Fully remote, with no geographic restrictions.
  • Language Requirement: B2-level English minimum; C1 preferred.
